The Birth of GiftUniquo: Celebrating Boldness, Bravery, and Beautiful Uniqueness.

Having established Coloursndash in 2022, GiftUniquo was set up in 2024 to express another idea I had - to use my art along with positive affirmations to create meaningful gifts and products that promote confidence and well-being.

I wanted to create a brand that encourages everyone to celebrate their own inner uniqueness and authentic self.  

The slogan reads gifts for the bold brave and the beautiful and is intended for anyone who wants to celebrate their own inner uniqueness and beauty

The chatacters are designed with some looking like humans and others with human characteristics. They are displayed on everyday items like mouse mats, T shirts, hoodies, tote bags and cups and can be purchased on the www.giftuniquo.com site.

Initial concepts for characters

Every brand begins with a feeling. For GiftUniquo, that feeling was a quiet but powerful belief: that every single person carries something wonderfully unique inside them—and that uniqueness deserves to be seen, celebrated, and worn with pride.

Initial concepts expressed as etchings

These characters are intentionally diverse and expressive. Some look human. Others are more abstract—creatures with human characteristics, emotions, and personalities. Together, they attempt to reflect the many ways people experience the world and themselves.

Each character carries its own mood, message, and energy—inviting you to see a little bit of yourself in them, or perhaps discover a side of yourself you’re still learning to embrace.

They are playful, thoughtful, sometimes bold, sometimes gentle—but always authentic.
